Problems of acclimatization and adaptation of skier-tourists in the conditions of Far North

Abstract

discusses the concept, significance and role of acclimatization and adaptation of skier-tourists to the conditions of the ski sports tours in the Far North, the effect of low temperatures on the human body. The importance of acclimatization, as a necessary measure for the effective prevention of accidents and injuries on the route is substantiated.The necessity of the inclusion of additional adaptation mechanisms providing the maximum duration of motor actions of tourists in a hike and the general vital human activity in adverse environments is shown. The characteristic features and the importance of proper, balanced diet of skier-tourists in the Far North is considered.
