PROBLEMS OF STUDENTS’ ADAPTATION OF THE FIRST COURSES AND THE ROLE OF EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS FOR THEIR SOLUTION

Abstract
The aim of this article is to identify and theoretically justify the factors that influence the process of adaptation of freshmen to the educational process at higher educational establishments. The main aspects of the first-year students' adaptation to the educational process at the medical universitieds are considered and the main factors contributing to adaptation are identified. It is established that the process of student’ adaptation in higher educational establishments mostly depends on the conditions of the academic activity that will help them to adapt in the group and to the future profession - the mastering of professional knowledge, skills and abilities. This educational process and educational work at the university, which would ensure the adaptability of the freshmen and the correspondence between the tasks and results that need to be achieved in the learning process.
