Problems of teaching the Polish language to Ukrainian-speaking citizens

Abstract
The article deals with the main problems of the Polish language’s study in Ukrainian higher educational institutions. The phenomenon of lexical interlingual interference of Polish and Ukrainian and ways of its elimination. The specific features of Ukrainian-Polish homonyms as a separate lexical-semantic category are determined, and methodical techniques are aimed at better assimilation of these units.
