PROBLEMS OF THE LEGAL STATUS OF NATIONAL POLICY AS A SUBJECT TAKING PART IN FIGHT AGAINST ORGANIZED CRIME CONNECTION WITH CORRUPTION RELATIONS

Abstract
The current state of development of a European-style police force in Ukraine is characterized by the need to improve the legal regulation of its individual structural units. The key to this improvement is the fact that legislation on the fight against organized crime is a national police force that is involved in the fight against organized crime within the framework of other core competences. However, direct regulation of such powers in the legislation of Ukraine that regulates the activities of the police is not implemented. Particular attention needs to be given to the settlement of the activities of the newly formed units of the National Police, whose authority is intended to assign functions for the fight against organized crime. Therefore, when drafting the Regulations on these structural units, special provisions should be included in the provisions regarding the availability of powers in the field of combating organized crime. From the proper distribution of tasks, functions and powers, building a system of interconnections between the bodies involved in the fight against organized crime, accompanied by corruption, the effectiveness of the struggle against this socially negative phenomenon depends.
