Procedura estymacji liczby pasażerów w środkach transportu publicznego z wykorzystaniem oprogramowania lokalizacyjnego

Abstract
Number of passengers using means of public transportation is one of basic parameters which is used to determine efficiency of such means. Regardless of big importance of this factor it is still often calculated using expensive methods such as manual counting or with use of visual systems. This paper presents method of estimating of number of passengers based on waiting time at bus stops. Input for reasoning process where data available from GPS receivers and dedicated signals correlated with bus door opening time.
