PROCESS APPROACH TO MANAGEMENT IN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Abstract
The paper presents partial results of the model of knowledge management system built on the basis of the process approach designed for construction companies. The process approach is defined in the management system application processes. These processes and related interactions are constantly identified and improved. The aim of implementing the process approach is to improve the performance of the company in achieving the intended results.The paper presents the processes in the construction industry that were identified on the basis of a survey. A simple but innovative way of presenting the process flow was developed. It allows one to filter the database of processes and operations, and to obtain the information used in the assessment and management of the company.
