Professional care of Polish nurses and professional liability in the light of legal articles

Abstract
Nursing practices have always been accompanying people. Over many years it was common the practices were provided without appropriate preparation. Currently, nursing profession requires more and more specialist knowledge which can be obtained through the raise of professional qualifications. Knowledge of legal articles has crucial importance among nurses, since the lack of the knowledge do not absolve nurses of responsibility from its possible contravention. The aim of work was to analyze legal articles that deal with principles of nursing profession in Poland as well as professional liability in the light of the abovementioned legal articles.
