Profiling inner surface of body of sound suppressor for small arms as tool of improved efficiency of its operation
Journal Title: Технічна механіка, Техническая механика, Technical Mechanics - Year 2015, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
The paper presents information about the special features of designs of sound suppressors for small arms without inner baffles and with profiling (longitudinal and transversal) the internal body surface. One of the versions of the classification of sound suppressors for small arms is considered. The location of one-chamber (volume, baffle-free) sound suppressors is demonstrated therein. The analytical and experimental data on an efficient operation of sound suppressors depending on the internal volume value and the number of baffles are discussed. The design and operation of patented sound suppressors with the profiled internal body surface are de-scribed in an orderly sequence. Conclusions about the basic lines for profiling the inner surface of the sound suppressor body as a tool of an improved efficiency of its operation are made.

Model Problems for Class of Systems for Mutual Positioning Spacecraft and Payload
The class of systems for mutual positioning a spacecraft and payload is considered. It can include the exist-ing systems for transportation of a payload relative to an orbital spacecraft using an anthropomorphic manipula...
Stability of motion and vibrations of vehicle of electro- dynamic transport systems with various number of superconducting magnets
The work goal is to determine the possibility of using transport systems with a different number of super-conducting magnets. Theoretical numerical methods are employed. The results from theoretical studies of 3D vibrat...
Determination of parameters of cavitation self-oscillation in hydraulic system under simultaneous longitudinal oscillation of pipe structure and fluid
The paper deals simultaneous longitudinal oscillation of feed pipes of liquid rocket engines (LRE) and flu-ids. Cavities, normally occurring in operations of LRE pumps, can result in self-excited low-frequency of the flu...
Сomputation of the pogo self-oscillation parameters in the dynamic "propulsion – rocket structure" system by using a 3d structural model
A mathematical model describing the nonlinear dynamical interaction of a launch vehicle (LV) and its marching liquid-propellant engine in the active phase of the LV flight is developed on the basis of the finite-element...
