Prognozowanie trwałości zmęczeniowej części samochodowej metodami numerycznymi

Abstract

The paper presents the numerical investigations of the influence of the type of machining undercutting used on step rollers on the fatigue strength of the product. The solution to the problem is shown on the hull of the wheel hub. As part of the numerical research, three geometric rollers of the graduated shaft differed in the value of the radius of the spindle transition into the disc. Geometric models have been used to develop mathematical models and then computerized to analyze the cyclic bending process to determine which of the rays provide the greatest fatigue strength. For numerical calculations, the Finite Element Method was used and the solution of the developed motion equation was carried out using nonlinear integration methods.
