Abstract
Ensuring the well-being of the population depends on modern approaches to the socio-economic policy of the state in the social welfare of its population. This article explored the need to encourage entrepreneurial activity among the population in rural areas, the use and improvement of modern approaches to social protection of the population and the reduction of poverty.
