Prospects of Application of Project Investment for Innovative Agricultural Technologies

Abstract
The article discusses the possibility of project investment for large-scale projects of innovative agricultural technologies. Agricultural technology implementation projects given the high cost of modern machines and equipment, as well as capital investments in the processing of agricultural products are usually associated with multi-million expenditure. Based on the experience of developed countries, it is recommended to use syndicated loans for the issuance of which the foreign banks join into consortia or syndicates for the distribution of financial risks between the projects participants. It was found that in Ukraine there are large companies, especially agricultural holdings, investing in the agricultural sector and huge funds receive multimillion-dollar profits. This is a prerequisite for the implementation of project investment techniques that have been successfully used abroad. The reasons that are hindering the use of this effective instrument in Ukraine were found.
