‘Protecting the Temple of God’. On the Self-Presentation of Neshor on His Mendes Statue

Abstract

New publication, edition, and reading of the self-presentation of the famous Neshor named Psamtikmenkhib on his fragmentary Mendes statue from Late Saite Egypt. The religious beliefs, moral values, and preservation of the self of Neshor as well as some concluding remarks are presented.
