Protection of citizens who require social support in the public transport

Abstract
The article raises questions concerning the protection of privileged categories of citizens while using them by public transport. The current state of legal regulation of this sphere of relations in society is considered. The proposals on legal consolidation of norms, which would further regulate the activity of motor carriers and increase their responsibility for refusal of transportation of privileged persons, are described, which would provide the next step in order to achieve the European level of quality of work in road transport.
