PROTEST DISCOURSE AND POLITICAL CORRECTNESS: TO THE ISSUE OF EUPHEMISMS IN POLITICAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract
The role of communication in political system has been studies. The essence of political correctness has been discovered, in particular concerning protest movements media coverage. Pluralism of approaches to euphemism concept interpretation has been considered. The most popular function of euphemisms is camouflaging that derives from the notion of euphemism itself. Interaction between euphemisms and tolerance has been outlined.
