Protocols of communication in medicine: a brief review

Abstract
This article will help physicians review their knowledge about communicating bad news to their patients. The overall goal of the article is to provide a brief review of different approaches of delivering bad news, helping the physicians in choosing the best for the benefit of their patients and to understand how important it is to learn new skills in their medical practice. In an attempt to encourage and aid future research regarding this issue, this paper presents some key protocols of communication.
