Abstract
Before we are proposed the universal expression of the density of energy of a nonlinear physical system. If we accept in this expression as argument the generalized coordinates, then we come to the potential energy, if we accept the generalized impulses, then we come to the kinetic energy, if we accept the generalized velocity, then we come to the kinetic co-energy (the concept of kinetic energy in the variational principle, does not work). Here we offered universal expression of dissipation energy, and on that ground wrote down the universal expression of Hamilton’s action. Examples are relating to temperature field in a nonlinear anisotropic medium.
