Przyśrodkowo-rzepkowy fałd maziówkowy

Abstract
Wstęp. Praca poświęcona jest patofizjologii, częstości występowania oraz znaczeniu klinicznemu fałdu przyśrodkowo-rzepkowego błony maziowej kolana. Występowanie tej struktury, jako pozostałości z życia płodowego jest zjawiskiem fizjologicznym i nabiera znaczenia klinicznego dopiero wtedy, gdy pod wpływem czynników chorobowych, urazowych czy przeciążeniowych dojdzie do zmian histologicznych w jej strukturze.Materiał i metody. Analizie retrospektywnej poddano protokoły operacyjne 912 zabiegów artroskopii stawu kolanowego wykonanych w latach 2002-2003 w Oddziale Ortopedii i Traumatologii Szpitala Wojewódzkiego im. dr. Biziela w Bydgoszczy.Wyniki. W badanej populacji obecność przerośniętego fałdu przyśrodkowo- rzepkowego stwierdzono w 199 przypadkach (21,8 %). W 118 przypadkach (12,9 %) stanowił on, wraz z towarzyszącą zazwyczaj chondromalacją rzepki i kłykcia przyśrodkowego kości udowej, jedyną patologię.Wnioski. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, że zespół fałdu błony maziowej jest istotnym problemem klinicznym dotyczącym najczęściej osób młodych, szczególnie kobiet.
