PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GENDER-ROLE BEHAVIOR OF MEN AND WOMEN WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF RELATIONSHIP TO THE FAMILY

Abstract

In modern gender studies examined a wide range of issues of men and women in society, in the family, in their professional activities. In psychology, the concept of gender behavior often studied, but, nevertheless, the differences between men and women can be seen for a long time. Gender stereotypes, as well as other kinds of social stereotypes — is an essential attribute of everyday thinking, self-awareness and interaction of individuals in the social space. Namely, on the basis of gender stereotypes formed gender-role behavior. The main objective of the work is to study the psychological characteristics of gender-role behavior of the person, the empirical study of the relationship between gender identity of women and men in relation to their families, the creation of a program to establish the impact of relationships with partners with different types of relationship to the family. The results can be used in the educational work of teachers, university administration, practical psychologists working with their spouses in order to identify and correct problems associated with the incorrect distribution of roles or simple dissimilarity in the concept of marriage in the family. Based on the general concept of gender psychology have been identified certain factors contribute to the formation and realization of gender-role behavior. Analyzed the prerequisites for establishing the orientation of a certain type of relationship from a psychological point of view. It uses correlation analysis Pearson. The paper outlines ways of further exploring research issues.
