PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF GENDER GENESIS AS A SOCIAL PHENOMENON

Abstract
The article substantiates the idea that gender is not just a set of anatomic or biological attributes, or a set of personality traits or psychological roles, creating situational identity, which can be waived. The article reviews normative notions of actions and attitudes appropriate to a particular category of belonging to the male or female gender in terms of psychological attitudes. The author defines the gender problem as an activity of the community on prescription of gender, which reproduces the relations of discrimination and inequality, a process that never stops. The article provides a review of theories and theoretical ideas about the nature of gender relations in the history of society.
