PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR WORKERS THE RESULT OF PARTICIPATION IN RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES PERCEPTIONS OF HEALTH

Abstract
A high level of employee well-being will provide significant advantages to businesses in a competitive environment. Increasing employee well-being, consciousness for recreational activities, participation and the level of transformation into a lifestyle are important. The aim of the research is to reveal the health outcomes that public and private sector employees perceive in recreational participation. For this purpose, 318 employee survey were applied in public and private sectors. Recreation Perceived Health Outcome Scale (PHORS) scale was used to collect data. In the data analysis, descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation) as well as parametric tests (t test, ANOVA) were applied. According to the results of the research, the recruitment of recreational activities by public and private sector employees does not differ according to gender, working status in public sector, sense of time competence and marital status, differentiated according to age, educational status, income status, years of work and participating recreational activities, results have been achieved.
