PUBLIC COLLECTIVE TRANSPORT ON THE MARKET OF TRANSPORT SERVICES – SELECTED ASPECTS

Abstract
Transport is a very important area of the functioning of the economy. Efficiently organised transport processes enable spatial movement of people and goods. The most popular is the road transport, which is considered to be a relatively fast and cheap way of moving. Public collective transport occupies an important place on the market of transport services in the area of carriage of persons. Enterprises providing services of this type encounter a lot of problems related to the organisation of their activity, and passengers have bigger and bigger expectations regarding the services they offer. The aim of this paper is to present the issues connected with public collective transport, as well as observations and opinions of people using these means of transport.
