Public Good and the Stability of the Financial System

Abstract
This article is an attempt to characterize the concept of a public good and the stability of the financial system and to determine whether public goods affect the general financial stability of a local government unit (LGU). In this article deals with basic aspects and definitions of public goods and their types, then the focuses on characteristics of financial stability. The last part contains an overview of reasons for maintaining the stability of a financial system viewed as a public good.
