PUBLISHING HOUSES DEVELOPMENT: ACTUAL TASKS AND DIRECTIONS FOR THEIR SOLUTION

Abstract
In the context of the main stages of book products creation the actual tasks that need to be solved by publishers are identified. The tendencies of the book market development are revealed. The main factors that lead to the book editions quality deterioration are substantiated. Priority strategies for the new publishing houses development and those with operational experience in the market are determined. Directions for publishing houses development for their earning capacity increase are proposed.
