Quality dimension of knowledge management – theory and practice

Abstract
The paper presents the nature and role of knowledge in the new economy. In contemporary global economy intangible assets such as knowledge, intellectual capital and information have become the ultimate resources. The paper addresses the influence the new economy on management practice and new ways organizations are managed and run both on theoretical grounds and in practice. Feedback from enterprises on four aspects of knowledge management: functional, processes, instrumental and institutional aspects is presented.
