Quasi-Compactness in Quasi-Banach Spaces
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
Quasi-compactness in a quasi-Banach space for the sequence space Lp, p< 0 < p <1 has been introduced based on the important extension of Milman's reverse Brunn-Minkowiski inequality by Bastero et al. in 1995. Moreover, Many interesting results connected with quasi-compactness and quasi-completeness in a quasi-normed space, Lp for 0 < p < 1 have been explored. Furthermore, we have shown that, the quasi-normed space under which condition is a quasi Banach space. Also, we have shown that the space if it is quasi-compact in quasi normed space then it is quasi Banach space and the converse is not true. Finally, a sufficient condition of the existence for a quasi-compact operator from Lp -> Lp has been presented and analyzed.

A Symmetry Hidden at The Center of Quantum Mathematics Causes a Disconnect Between Quantum Math and Quantum Mechanics
Although quantum mathematics is the most successful science ever, that does not mean we live in the universe described by quantum mechanics. This article is entirely based on symmetry. Two symmetrical universes could hav...
A new analytical modelling for fractional telegraph equation via Elzaki transform
The main aim of this paper is to propose a new and simple algorithm for space-fractional telegraph equation, namely new fractional homotopy analysis transform method (FHATM). The fractional homotopy analysis transform...
A Simulation Comparison of Bootstrap Procedures in Periodically Correlated Time Series Models
The presence of periodicity in data with periodic structure has become an important issue in parameter estimation. Several methods have been studied with intention estimating different parameters or constructing confiden...
Effect of Delta Operator on Umbral Composition in Finite Operator calculus
The main objective of this paper is to propose the matrix representation of umbral composition and investigate the effect of delta operator on umbral composition by using the sequential representation of delta operator i...
Effect of magnetic field on peristaltic flow of Walters B fluid through a porous medium in a tapered asymmetric channel.
The problem of peristaltic transport of an incompressible non-Newtonian fluid in a tapered a symmetric channel through a porous medium is presented under long-wave length and low Reynolds number assumptions, the fluid is...
