Questions of the history of the Armenians of the Northern Black Sea Region in the modern Armenian historiography

Abstract
An attempt is made in the article to consider contemporary Armenian historiography of the history of Armenians of the Northern Black Sea Region. In the article, special attention was paid to publications published after 1991. The main directions of scientific research of modern Armenian researchers are analyzed. In the article the main directions and problematic issues of the history of Armenians of the region, which were left without due attention of modern Armenian researchers, are considered. Thus, in the modern Armenian historiography, there is no evidence of scientific interest in the study, rethinking, or new scientific research in the history of Armenians in the Northern Black Sea region. It should be noted that a large number of problems are connected with the history of Armenians in the region, such as the eviction of Armenians from Crimea and Bessarabia, the national education, the legal status of Armenians and the Armenian Church, Armenian Catholics, and the differential typology of Armenian colonies (colonies and communities), issues Armenian refugees, political parties, diplomatic institutions, has not been adequately covered in modern Armenian historiography.
