Abstract
Road safety remains a major medical, societal, psychological and economic issue. Traffic related injuries are one of the main causes of fatalities all around the globe, not only for drivers but also for passengers, especially those who don’t use seatbelts. In this article, I wanted to present important facts and my subjective opinion on the traffic accidents and related trauma, but most importantly on their prevention, and in the second part I concentrated on violence and non-traffic accident related trauma.
