Abstract
The first part of the paper presents the organization of the intelligence division of the front staff and partisan staff. With those structures as background, the author describes the organization and equipment of their communication nodes. As the continuation of the subject, this paper analyzes the training of radio station telegraphists, the organization of the radio communication of agents and the system of report ciphering. In addition, the most popular Soviet intelligence radio station “Siewier” is presented. In the final part of the paper, the author attempts to evaluate the radio communication of agents, functioning in the operational intelligence structures of the Red Army in the final years of World War II in the context of modern experience and capabilities.
