RAINFALL EXCESSES ON THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA TERRITORY. CASE STUDY

Abstract
The article is based on analyzing the pluviometric excesses from the territory of the Republic of Moldova, through the condition of regional atmospheric circulation. The role of the Black Sea basin and Carpathian mountains is highlighted as well. The study was focused on the following cases of pluviometric excesses: July 7-8, 1948; August 26, 1994; August 7, 2005; July, 28, 2008; June, 2010; June, 2011.
