Raman spectroscopic investigation of the effects of heat-treatment and Al, Ce or Eu doping concentration on TiO2 powder crystallization
Journal Title: Journal of New technology and Materials - Year 2016, Vol 6, Issue 2
Abstract
In this paper, we study the effects of various doping elements (Aluminum, Cerium or Europium) with different contents and of heat-treatment on the structural properties of TiO2 nano-crystalline powders. The sol-gel technique was used to prepare the doped and undoped TiO2 powders. The structures of the obtained samples were investigated using Raman spectroscopy, which allowed to monitor the formation of anatase and rutile crystalline phases as a function of the annealing temperature. We have shown that all the doping elements contribute to stabilize anatase phase at high calcination temperature. Furthermore, doping with Europium was found to be the most efficient anatase phase stabilizer.

The Peganum harmala plant is commonly used as traditional herbal medicine in many countries including Algeria. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of alkaloids extract of P. harmala seeds on histo-functio...
A comparative study of the structural, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties in Pr0.6La0.1M0.3MnO3 manganites (M = Ca, Ba and Mg)
The Comparaison of the structural, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Pr0.6La0.1M0.3MnO3 (M = Ca, Ba and Mg) compounds have been studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and magnetic measurements. Our compounds have...
Self organizing map of artificial neural network for groundwater quality classification in the F'kirina plain (Oum El Bouaghi province-NE of Algeria)
The topological Self-Organizing Maps of Kohonen and other methods of artificial intelligence are effective tools for modeling and solving environmental problems. In this study, we propose an approach to classify the annu...
Getting ferromagnetic metallic nanofilms for information recording on the magnetic moments of the electrons
The ferromagnetic nanofilms are promising for recording information by means of electron spins. The preparation of such films is technologically very cheap. It is assumed in such matrices can be a huge recording density...
Recovery of nickel and copper from metal finishing hydroxide sludge by kinetic acid leaching
The aim of the present work was the recovery of nickel and copper from metal finishing hydroxide sludge by kinetic acid leaching. The study was divided into two main parts: First, a kinetic model of precipitate leaching...
