Rancangan Model Pengembangan Kewirausahaan pada Mahasiswa Ditinjau dari Persepsi, Minat dan Kompetensi Kewirausahaan

Abstract

Natural resource management has not been maximized, job availability has not been able to accommodate the existing workforce. Even more concerning is the least number of entrepreneurs, whereas to become an advanced and independent nation a State must have at least 2% of entrepreneurs of the population. Indonesia to date has only 0.18% entrepreneurship, meaning that there are still very few Indonesian people who have a creative mentality, innovative and do not rely on their lives by looking for work. It is necessary to build a community that has a job creator mentality, one of which can be encouraged by developing entrepreneurship education programs (entrepreneurship) that starts at an early age. The purpose of this study is to find the model of entrepreneurship development in students based on 1) student perceptions of entrepreneurship, 2) student interest in entrepreneurship, 3) competence required by students in entrepreneurship. Taking the location of research in Malang, with informants from three major universities that exist, is expected to represent kaarakter students in general. Using qualitative descriptive method, this research produces models of entrepreneurship development in students based on the perception, interests and competencies that are being mooted today.
