Recent Trends in Solar Distillation

Abstract

Water is the main source for sustaining the man on earth. Groundwater and reservoirs are the largest available sources of freshwater to fullfill needs of mankind. However, these sources do not always proved to be useful due to the excessive salinity in the water. Solar still is one of the process by which we can purify the water with the help of solar radiations. This device can be fabricated easily with lower cost. This paper takes review of latest development in solar distillation system.
