Стаття є рецензією на твір філософської прози українського письменника Юрія Чу- мака «Дарунок цариці Древи». Зазначено, що автор твору шукає власний шлях в пізнан- ні Бога через рідну природу. Описані звичаї, обряди і магія виростають із конкретно древлянської землі, базуються на їїлегендах і переказах. Підкреслено, що саме націона- льний ґрунт дає силу творові Юрія Чумака.
