Abstract
Pytania: kim jest człowiek, dokąd zmierza, co powinien robić, jakie wartości preferuje w swym życiu doczesnym, jaki jest sens i cel jego życia oraz umierania i śmierci, należą do najtrudniejszych pytań nie tylko ludzkiej egzystencji, ale także całego wszechświata. Janusz Mariański zestawiając wyniki wielu badań poszukuje psychologiczno-społecznych uwarunkowań sensu życia oraz zastanawia się, czy współczesna polska młodzież stawia sobie pytania o sens i cel życia, jakimi wartościami się kieruje i jakie miejsce w jej życiu zajmuje religia.
