Abstract
This paper describes basic concepts in computer assisted training, state of the art in Romania and guidelines for developing educational software. We’ve approached expert educational systems, the IMS Learning Design Model, a series of parameters for e-learning techniques and their use in choosing and/or obtaining an educational software solution.
