Reconstruction of Idealism In Theorizing Scientifically The Discipline of International Relations For Peace and International Security: Idea-Realism
Journal Title: Uluslararası Kriz ve Siyaset Araştırmaları Dergisi - Year 2018, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
This work seeks to contribute to international security and peace by referring to idea-realism which is a new and eclectic theory for the discipline of International Relations. In this study, the idea-realism approach for the discipline of International Relations has been developed by taking into account the philosophy of science. The roots of this new approach are based on hermeneutic perspective and abductive research strategy. This point of view and the used methods lead us to the United Nations General Assembly for peace and international security as long as a better institution is not established.
