Effect of feeding frequency on growth performances and survival of Rutilus rutilus caspicus
Feed management plays a major role in the economical and environmental status of fish farms. Optimum feeding frequency seems to be dependent on fish size and higher frequency of feeding was found to be advantageous for h...
In vitro response of Human Pre-osteoclasts to low intensity Laser irradiation
In vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated that low intensity laser irradiation stimulates growth and cell differentiation of precursor cells, promoting dental movement and alveolar bone remodeling. But the informati...
Toxicity of copper to tropical freshwater snail (Pila ovata)
The potential toxicity of copper to freshwater snail (Pila ovata) was investigated in a static renewal bioassay for 96 hours. Chemically pure salts of copper sulphate (CuSO4. 5H2O) dissolved in distilled water was used a...
In vitro multiplication of the endangered plant species, Exacum bicolor Roxb
To conserve endangered medicinal plant species, Exacum bicolor Roxb. (Gentianaceae), an efficient micropropagation protocol was developed by using nodal segments for axillary shoot proliferation. Higher multiplication ra...
Bioaccumulation of lead by Bacillus species isolated from pig waste
Heavy metals, such as lead, copper, cadmium, chromium and mercury are important environmental pollutants, particularly in areas with high anthropogenic pressure. Their presence in the atmosphere, soil and water, even in...
