RECORDING AND PROCESSING OF PRIMARY ACOUSTIC MATERIAL FOR THE TASK OF VOICE ANALYSISAND VOICE CHARACTERISTICS EXTRACTION

Abstract

The features of using different types of microphones for acoustic recording of the human voice are considered. The possibility of using studio, headset, lapel and stubborn microphones is analyzed. The main characteristics and types of microphones that can be used for voice signals recording in the task of voice signal analysis and its main characteristics extraction are singled out. Also, in the course of the experimental study, the sampling frequency optimum value for such signals is determined. This value analysis is based on human voice frequency characteristics and the necessity of the most accurate voice signal reconstruction by software. The obtained results are analyzed by comparison with data from references. These results should be used in the authors’ researches of human condition analysis methods based on the human voice analysis.
