Abstract
The cause of the development of schizophrenia remains unclear and is one of the pressing issues of our time. There are many hypotheses indicating the development of schizophrenia due to various factors such as genetic, neurobiological, environmental, drug-induced, etc. The main reason for establishing a link between the use of psychoactive substances and the development of schizophrenia is the appearance of productive symptoms, which becomes chronic.
