Rectum Located Medullary Cancer: Case Report

Abstract

Malign epithelial tumors of the colon and rectum are the third most common cancer in worldwide. Medullary carcinomas are constitute only %1 of them and have more favorable outcome than other histologic subtypes. Because of their rarity sometimes they can’t be noticed and misdaignosed as poorly didderentiated adenocarcinomas, metastases, even lymphomas. In this study we aim to present clinicopathological features and treatment of colonic medullary carcinoma of 57 year old patient.
