Journal Title: International Journal of Research in Computer and Communication Technology - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
In this project the usage of distributed generation renewable sources such as solar energy, wind energy and fuel energy become more popular because of environment friendly and increasing demand of electric energy. For connecting of distributed generation to grid supply the Power electronics converter and inverter (power conditioning unit) are mainly used. Different types of universal power conversions are available. In this using single stage conversions are proposed. In general photovoltaic (PV) based power generation systems are existence so in that PV based systems the voltage stress across the power devices and leakage current are the major issues in transformerless grid connected photovoltaic system. So, in this project reduction of voltage stress across the power devices and leakage current are overcome by modified T-Source Inverter (MTSI) based single stage transformer less grid connected photovoltaic (PV) system.MTSI has the advantages of low leakage current, reduced voltage stress, less passive components and no shoot through problem compared to other type transformers grid connected inverter system. The entire proposed system will be tested using MATLAB/SIMULINK and the simulation results demonstrate the attractive performance characteristics of the proposed reduction of common mode leakage current in three phase transformer less photovoltaic grid connected system.
