It is considered as the predominant language for communication around the world, so most schools adopt English as a compulsory subject in basic education (from the sixth year). For the deaf, this learning happens as a third language (L3), since this subject has the Brazilian Language of Signals (Libras) as the first language (L1), recognized by Brazilian Law 10.436 / 2002, because he understands that the deaf live the world by Visual experiences, manifesting their culture through the visual-spatial modality. The Portuguese language as a second language (L2), in the written form because it is the official language of Brazil. The present work was carried out in a qualitative and exploratory way using techniques of classroom observations, as well as a descriptive study carried out by teachers, translators interpreters of Lidia and deaf students, to know the educational reality of the deaf, as well as a reflection on the practices Pedagogies developed in classrooms where the deaf people learn English.
