REGIONAL HISTORICAL ASPECT OF CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION OF THE CHERNIVTSI REGION

Abstract

The author justifies the importance and role of the cross-border cooperation and regions. The analysis of Chernivtsi Region’s geopolitical situation demonstrates broad opportunities for the cross-border cooperation. The author has studied specifics and the process of development of relationships between Ukraine and Romania, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. Main problems in the development of Chernivtsi Region’s cross-border cooperation have been identified. Advantages of cross-border cooperation development have been articuiated.
