Rehabilitacja pacjenta z zastosowaniem protezy overdenture wspartej o jeden implant w linii pośrodkowej w żuchwie ze względu na nietypową anatomię – opis przypadku

Abstract
Leczenie pacjentów bezzębnych sprawia często wiele trudności, zwłaszcza ze względu na rozległy zanik podłoża protetycznego szczególnie w żuchwie. Rozwiązaniem tego problemu klinicznego jest zastosowanie protezy typu overdenture wspartej o wszczepy śródkostne. Od wielu lat standardem w takich przypadkach jest wprowadzenie dwóch lub czterech implantów jako wsparcia dla protezy. Zdarzają się jednak sytuacje kiedy takie rozwiązanie jest trudne lub nawet niemożliwe do wykonania np. ze względu na warunki anatomiczne. Rozważyć można wówczas zastosowanie pojedynczego implantu jako elementu poprawiającego stabilizację i retencję dolnej protezy całkowitej.
