Relation of Poverty with the Number oftheChildren in Family

Abstract
Poverty is a phenomenon with which all human communities have been engaged in all eras of history in one way or another. This study was an attempt to invest iGATE issue of poverty in terms of the number of children (no child, singlechild, two-child, three-child-child and more) among both rural and urban families. Meanwhile, proportion of areas of experses as to food, clothes, health and education in each community was separately investigated. The preliminary data were based on family economic information (family budget) in 2008 revealed by the Iranian center of statistics and the poverty line was drawn bused on the minimum calorie level (Dr.pazhoyan method).The findings show that there is a positive correlation between increase in the number of children and poverty line in both communities. There is also positive correlation between the number of children and the proportion of expresses such as food, clothes, etc.
