Relationship between Adipokines and Body Mass Index in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract
An examination of 102 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus was aimed to study the features of correlations of insulin resistance markers, body mass index and adipokines. Correlation analysis revealed reliable connection between adipokines (leptin and resistin) and body mass index.
