RELIGIOUS COMPONENT OF THE NATIONAL CULTURAL SPACE OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article analyzes the regional dimension of the religious component of the national cultural space. The basic preconditions of the modern dialogical model of development of the Ukrainian religious sphere are revealed. It is proved that religious diversity in Ukraine with the emergence of new denominations was the source of significant contradictions, but eventually new religious organizations always played a constructive role in the history of national development. Today, the European model for the development of the religious sphere of Ukraine has been reached, which provides for constant dialogue and cooperation between the main religious organizations, which cover more than 90% of believers. This dialogue is fruitful at the level of all-Ukrainian institutions and para-churchs' organizations that make up the religious segment of civil society. At the level of religious communities, certain difficulties in the dialogue have historic reasons in the presence of Russian Orthodoxy in Ukraine. However, in general, the dynamics of historical development and the impact of globalization lead to an acceleration of the transition of the religious sphere of Ukraine to European models of development, which include not only a permanent inter-confessional dialogue, but also the existence of partnership relations between churches and state, churches and religious organizations.
