Renal Tuberculosis: A case Report

Abstract
A 52 year old female presented with loss of appetite. She had a progressively increasing swelling in the right lumbar region. The ESR was 175 mm at the end of 1 hour. She was currently on anti-tuberculosis drugs and had a past history of tuberculosis of hip joint. Ultrasonography performed elsewhere suggested an ill-defined mass arising from the right renal cortex. Based on the ultrasonography findings, a contrast-enhanced CT (Computed Tomography) scan of the abdomen and pelvis was performed.
