Renewing DNA integrity by cell repair systems
Journal Title: Фактори експериментальної еволюції організмів - Year 2018, Vol 23, Issue
Abstract
The four of six main cell repair systems have been reviewed. Some of them have been studied by Nobel laureates of 2015 year in the field of chemistry. The common title of their work is “For investigation of DNA repair mechanisms”. Numerous primer damages of DNA induced by exogenous and endogenous factors are corrected by complex cell systems including repair enzymes and other proteins. Mutational changes in the genes coding the repair enzymes are the most dangerous because they dramatically increase mutation frequency in pro- and eukaryotic cells. But due to the constant and correct action of cell repair enzymes DNA integrity is renewing, that is why the organisms on our planet are still alive and functionally active. Keywords: DNA repair, reparative enzymes, pro- and eukaryotic cells, primer damages, mutations.

Aim. The aim of the work was to study the effect of microwave radiation of varying intensity on the polytene chromosomes puffing activity in larvae salivary glands of Drosophila melanogaster. Methods. The wild type outbr...
CHAPERONES HSP90 AS A STABILIZER OF PLANT GROWTH AND MORPHOGENESIS: A MICROEVOLUTIONARY ASPECT
Aim. Chaperones HSP90 have been considered as a mechanism for buffering and accumulating genetic changes which could be important for developmental networks. An analysis of polymorphic Arabidopsis thaliana seeds was carr...
Optimization of ChIP protocol for investigation of canonical Wnt target genes expression in new born heart
Aim. In present work we have focused on chromatinimmunoprecipitation (ChIP) protocol with next qPCR optimization for analysis of canonical Wnt target genes regulation by b‑catenin and plakoglobin in new born heart. Metho...
Noncanonical DNA-binding properties of potential components of an antitumor composition (cytokine AIMP1/p43, lectin SNA, izatizon), which are able to affect different targets
Aim. To search the DNA-binding properties of various drugs promising for the creation of the antitumor composition (AIMP1/p43, SNA-I, izatizon), as well as their ability to influence on key matrix processes – DNA transcr...
Development of caryological and molecular-genetic investigations of wetland and dryland populations of conifers
Aim. On the basis of studies which carried out by various authors, regularities of karyotypic and genetic divergence of populations of conifers growing in wetlands and dry lands are analyzed. Methods. The karyological an...
