REPLACEMENT OF COMBAT AIRCRAFT FLEET IN TERMS OF IMPROVING POLISH NATIONAL SECURITY

Abstract
The content presented in the article focuses on an assessment regarding of replacement of the combat aircraft fleet in terms of improving Poland’s security. The introduction contains a general outline of the problem situation regarding the need to replace the fleet of combat aircraft in Poland and identifies the research problem that the article focuses on. The subsequent parts of the assessment are: analysis of military threats and the essence of modern and future aerial warfare on the basis of which the author defines the requirements related to the specification of desirable combat aircraft and conducts a statistical survey indicating the recommended number of combat aircraft in Poland. The summary of the article contains conclusions from the conducted research and possible directions for further research in this area.<br/><br/>
